THE KNOLLWOOD MEN'S CHOIR

The Knollwood Men’s Choir is a thirty-five-voice choir of adult men (sometimes joined by the male members of the youth choir); the singers are both members of the Chancel Choir and other singers who participate only in the men’s choir. The group rehearses and sings about once each quarter. The normal schedule for men’s choir:

         Two Wednesdays before choir sings, rehearse 7:15-7:45

         One Wednesday before choir sings, rehearse 7:15-7:45

         On the Sunday that the choir sings for worship

                  8:00  Meet for breakfast in the dining room

                  8:30  Rehearse

                  10:30 Robe and prepare for worship

 

The men’s choir sings a variety of literature—hymn arrangements, spirituals, classical anthems, gospel anthems.
