Hopefully you have heard about the new Wednesday evening format! The Adult Education Committee is excited about the possibilities for “community-building” that these small group offerings will provide.
This is the way it works for maximum benefit:
Question: How many classes are there and what are they about?
- There are 8 small group classes. The facilitator and a short description of the class are listed in the newsletter, worship bulletin, and also on Knollwood’s website (see below).
Question: Will the class run for the entire 10 weeks?
- No. Each of these classes runs for 5 weeks.
- At the end of 5 weeks these same classes will be offered again. This allows you the opportunity to participate in two separate learning experiences.
Question: How do I sign up?
- The following are the best ways to sign up for your classes:
- USE DROP-DOWN LIST BELOW: [best method]
- Email: rhetttravis@gmail.com
- Phone: Knollwood’s phone number (336) 725-1343
- Worship Bulletin: Place registration sheet in offering plate
- Wednesday evening meal-time opportunity
- Pick and number your top 3 (three) choices for each 5 (five) week session [you may choose the same 3 classes for each session for better placement opportunity].
Question: What happens if I don’t get my first choice?
- In an effort to emphasize “community-building” class sizes will be limited.
- All efforts will be made to place you in your top choices.
- If these classes fill up then we will place you in your second or third choice.
- If the classes fill up prior to your top 3 choices you will be contacted for a replacement.
