ONE ACCORD. This 6th-12th-grade group meets for rehearsal each Sunday at 5:00 p.m., September – June. The group is directed by Ken Wilson, and accompanied by Susan Orgain. The choir sings for worship at least once each month, sings programs in area churches, and presents musical dramas. Past productions include A Cotton Patch Gospel, Godspell (2000), and Celebrate Life (2002).

For a number of years this group has made bi-annual tours to different parts of the country, singing in churches, hospitals, nursing facilities, prisons, and ball games. These tours are scheduled in the summer on even-numbered years, alternating every other year with youth ministry mission trips. Recent choir tours have taken the choir to New Orleans, Atlanta, Birmingham, Boston, New York City, and Washington, D.C.
In the summer of 2002 ONE ACCORD participated in the DC Area YouthCue Choir Festival (www.youthcue.org). Here our choir joined with 300 other singers to sing a concert at the National Cathedral, sing the national anthem at an Oriels game, and record a CD with a symphony orchestra. Check out the photos!
In addition to the choirs, organist Susan Orgain regularly coaches singers and instrumentalists in the preparation of selections for worship.
