8:00 pm – 7:00 am at KBC Cost - $5 (Friends do not pay)
Guys bring Salty snack – Girls bring a Sweet Snack

July 1 - Funky Field Summer Fiesta! -
Everyone will meet at Hathaway park @ 3:30 to play games (Quidditch, Pole Ball, and Kickball!). Afterwards, we will have cook out. Please bring $5 to cover food and supplies. If you bring a friend (someone NOT from Knollwood, St. Tim’s or First Christian) you don’t have to pay!

July 8 – Hanging at the Point…Emerald Point
Join us as we spend the Day at Wet&Wild Emerald Point in Greensboro! Everyone should meet at Knollwood Baptist church @ 9am ready to spend the day at the water park. We’ll return to Knollwood at 7pm. Cost is $30. Lunch is provided. We will not be renting any lockers as a group, so if you are interested in locker rental, the cost is an additional $8. Please sign up to go with your youth leader by July 1 if you are planning on participating! As usual, friends are welcome!

July 15-16 – Middle School Undertow
Yes, we are going to the beach! We will leave early Tuesday and arrive back in Winston-Salem Late Wednesday.
Cost yet to be determined.

July 22 - Quizilicious Bowl
How much useless trivia facts do you know? Put your knowledge to the test as we meet at First Christian church from 7-10 pm to crown a quiz bowl! Did I mention that we’ll gorge ourselves on hot-wings, smoothies and root-beer floats?
Bring $5 with you for food.

July 29 - Mission at Samaritan Ministries
Come prepared to work hard. Samaritan Ministries has set up a full workday for us. Wear shoes and long pants because of the work. Meet at Knollwood at 8:30 am; we will return around 3 pm!

July 30 - August 2 - High School Rip Tide
Experience God…Experience Life
Beach House in Ocean Isle, NC (2nd row from shore!!!)
Cost $50 – please do not let cost be an issue. We want all the High School Youth to have a chance to hang out before the school year takes over! As usual, friends are always welcome!
Depart from KBC at 8:00 am l Return to KBC around 5:00 pm

Aug 4-8 - Vacation Bible School
9:00 am – 12:00 pm at Knollwood Baptist Church
***This is a special time in our chuch’s life and I think we can get at least 15 Middle and High School leaders. If you are interested please let me know soon!
***Those that help lead in VBS will be able to attend “Floating Away” on Tuesday of VBS for FREE thanks to the Children’s Ministry!!!

August 5 - Floating Away at the Dan
Tubing & Cookout
We will meet at Knollwood Baptist church at 1pm and arrive at Danbury General Store, between 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm. We’ll then be ferried with our tubes and spend the afternoon floating slowly down the river. After we finish tubing, we’ll have a cook out and play some games. Cost for tubing is $9 and for food is $5. Estimated return time is 8:00 pm

August 10 – 2nd Annual Preslar Pool Party
5 pm – 8 pm
meet at 4472 Bent Tree Farm Road
Bring: Towel, Swimsuit (no Speedos!), Bible and Pen
Snack (girls sweet, guys salty)
Pizza Provided!

August 12 - Crazy Closing Tuesday of KC Madness
For our last summer event we will meet at St. Timothy’s in the field from 3-8, playing games, followed by a cookout. Wear running shoes and come prepared to have a blast! Bring $5 for supplies and food, and be sure to invite a friend!

August 24 – The Clark’s Back to School Bash
4 pm – 7 pm
meet at 555 Knob View Place
A Cook-out to Bring-in the School Year
***bring your tennis shoes for a Basketball Tourney and a Bible for an old-school Sword Drill Tourney!!!
