Sara Smith, a 2015 graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Divinity, began work as our Interim Minister to Children and Families in August 2023. She became the full-time Minister to Children and Families on Jan. 1, 2024.
Sara is a clinically trained chaplain and an experienced children’s minister. She has worked as a chaplain for the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and for Hospice of Davidson County. Before coming to Knollwood, Sara completed four years of service as the Minister to Children and Families at Clemmons United Methodist Church.
