Josh became the minister of youth and recreation at KBC in the summer of 2016 after graduating from the Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Prior to that, he had worked with young people in different ministerial capacities across the state of North Carolina since 2009.
Josh believes he is called to this work by a passion for empowering young people to own their God-given gifts and talents, while offering a hand to foster those within the love and grace of God. When not running around with teenagers at youth events, he partners with the Knollwood family to grow our budding recreation ministry based in the Wellness and Community Center.
As an avid sports fan, he loves the intersection of play and faith in his ministry. When not at Knollwood, Josh can be found with his wife, Alyssa, son, Maxwell, and little dog, Tobi, enjoying a good book, a good burger, a good Tar Heel victory, or a good time with friends and family.
