One of Knollwood’s signature initiatives, Faith in the City invites participants to deepen community conversations about complex issues and find ways to work together to address injustices. Join us as in March as we discuss the topic “Fostering Diverse Schools: What Are We Learning?”
WS/FC Schools’ Dr. Effie McMillian and Frank Pantano, co-project leaders of the Fostering Diverse Schools initiative, will share results to date from the planning process to explore new options for the school district’s residential boundaries. Through community-wide listening sessions, surveys, and feedback, the initiative is assessing how boundaries, which have remained largely unchanged for more than 30 years, could be adapted to increase socioeconomic diversity and enhance school transportation efficiency.
We hope you can join us for an update and to learn how you can provide additional feedback in coming months.
Faith in the City meets in-person, with a Zoom option available. The March Zoom link is tinyurl.com/FITCMarch25.
