October 9, 2019
5:30 pm
7:00 pm
Knollwood Fellowship Hall, Building B

On Wednesday evenings, we gather from 5:30–6:15 p.m. to share a meal and the joys and concerns of our community. Then, from 6:15–7:00 p.m., through careful and varied programs, we delve into topics relevant to our faith, our times, our call to missions and service. We continue our exploration of the theme "Love Your Neighbor: The View From My Block."

OPTION 1: On Oct. 9, we will welcome two of the many community partners collaborating on the Oct. 10 event with Nikole Hannah-Jones. We’ll hear how the need for educational equity for all our city’s children is heard and lived in different neighborhoods of our city, and in particular, how ministers and churches hear equity as an expression of “Love your neighbor.

OPTION 2: Opening Up to God: Spiritual Practices for Seeking and Being Found, A small group exploration (limited to 12 people).

Led by Katharine Martin: "Sacred Imagination: Praying Our Way Into Scripture”
