On Wednesday evenings, we gather from 5:30–6:15 p.m. to share a meal and the joys and concerns of our community. Then, from 6:15–7:00 p.m., through careful and varied programs, we delve into topics relevant to our faith, our times, our call to missions and service.
Let Justice Roll Down
A series featuring local judges and attorneys will help us explore current justice issues in Forsyth County, and how "the least of these" --children and youth, immigrants, and indigent defendants-- fare in the justice system.
Justice for Immigrants
We welcome attorney Helen Parsonage and her expertise on immigration legal issues in Forsyth County. (Prior to the program, a brief church conference will be convened to vote on our 2020 Ministry Plan.)
1 Corinthians 3:1-9
Jesus warns that unrestrained anger makes one “liable to judgment” (Mt. 5:21). Unless such anger is examined, tested, and winnowed, it can destroy relationships and community. Thankfully, Jesus teaches us what to do when we’re “mad as hell.”
