As if middle school was adventurous enough already, we're dialing up the adventure for our middle school folks even more! The end of September will be our Adventure Day, exclusively with our middle school friends.
What kind of adventures will we be getting into you ask? Well, these kinds:
This will be an excellent day for our middle school folks. Both those who've been with the youth group for awhile and those just getting started will be able to spend some time together having fun, getting to know one another, and figuring out how they are a beloved part of this KBC.ym community. I am really looking forward to spending this entire day with them, from 9am-7:30pm. Cost for the day is $35 and will cover everything from drop off to pick up.
A few logistical notes: since part of this day will be spent off-campus, we will have to transport youth. We will take the church bus to the Zoo and will follow precautions of riding with our mask on and with the windows rolled down. These 2 factors will keep the air flowing throughout the inside of the bus while also helping keep our youth safe. Further, we will remain masked throughout the day anytime we are inside/in a vehicle. We will also plan to eat our meals that day (lunch at NC Zoo and dinner at KBC) outside.
