Our newest global partner is CBF field personnel Jana Lee, who partners with All4Aid to serve the steady stream of refugees and asylum seekers arriving in Cyprus from the Middle East and Africa. In recent years there has been a steady stream of refugees arriving in Cyprus, which has the largest per capita population of asylum seekers of all European countries. In addition to its normal population of about one million, this small country now houses about 300,000 refugees. Given the high rate of rejections for asylum applications, many of these refugees remain in Cyprus for years.
