Rodney Stilwell and others
We are offering 3 classes designed to introduce a small group to the basics of making a clay pot on a potter’s wheel. Drawing on the imagery of Jeremiah’s trip to the Potter’s House, we will describe the work of God crafting us as useful vessels, discussing themes of renewal, listening, and transformation. The classes will combine play and prayer, dirty hands and open hearts. No previous studio experience is needed but participants should attend all 3 sessions. Everyone will begin to learn using the wheel, make some simple clay pieces, and fire their creations.
