Pastor Courtney Arrives This Month

We stand on the verge of change. Knollwood Baptist Church’s interim period between pastors is ending, and a new phase is beginning as our ministry team expands to include Dr. Courtney Allen Crump as Knollwood’s fifth senior pastor.

Dr. Courtney Allen Crump was called as Knollwood’s fifth senior pastor on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026.

Knollwood’s New Pastor

Rev. Dr. Courtney Allen Crump

Sunday, March 15, will be the last Sunday of our interim period between pastors. Together, as one part of worship, we’ll pause to give thanks for the ministry and mutual care we have experienced over the past 13 and a half months. We’ll reflect on how God’s Spirit has made this interim a period for the congregation to flourish while also turning toward the societal challenges and needs of this moment.

Sunday, March 22, will be the first Sunday when Pastor Courtney will take her place in the pulpit to preach as our called pastor. Together, as one part of worship, we’ll pause to bless her in this new beginning and to pray for the many new roles and relationships soon to emerge. We will listen anew for how God’s Spirit is calling us to ministry, spiritual care, and vital engagement in our world and our time. After worship, we will enjoy a reception with light refreshments as we celebrate and welcome Pastor Courtney.
