Biblical scholar and New York Times bestselling author Bart D. Ehrman will discuss his new book, “Love Thy Stranger: How the Teachings of Jesus Transformed the Moral Conscience of the West,” in the sanctuary.
“Love Thy Stranger” traces how Jesus’ radical ethic of altruism — commanding his disciples to love even those who are strangers — has shaped our world and our lives.
Book copies will be available for purchase, and Dr. Ehrman will sign books after the program.
