Superintendent Green joins us to present a statewide initiative, “Achieving Educational Excellence,” at a vital time to hear strong voices for public education. With a call to action on behalf of every student, he will address becoming “Best in Nation: Our Plan for North Carolina Public Schools.” Focused Q&A will follow, initiated by local advocates and leaders.
Knollwood Baptist Church offers this monthly series of conversations about educational equity, running October-May, usually on the first Tuesday, noon-1 PM. Faith in the City invites participants to deepen community conversations about complex issues and find ways to work together to address injustices.
