KBC.kids and KBC.ym and families, let’s spend the day together at Laurel Ridge Camp in the beautiful N.C. mountains, about 70 minutes from Knollwood in Laurel Springs.
This year’s theme is “Illuminate! Shining Light on the Bible.” Together we will explore Psalm 119:105 and how scripture can be used as a light for the paths of our lives. The Bible can be intimidating to dive into and use as a resource. We hope that we can become more comfortable with the Bible and walk away feeling more connected to God’s word.
Children and adults will have their own breakout sessions for Bible study and discussion. There will be childcare provided for infants through pre-K during the breakout sessions. As a whole group, we will eat lunch, have free time, do a service project, and worship together. Free time activities will include hiking, disc golf, fishing, basketball, gaga ball, hammock time, volleyball, and 9 square in the air.
New this year: Our third and final adult breakout session will be held on Sunday, Sept. 21, during the Sunday school hour in the Fellowship Hall at KBC. We will discuss how to approach your children’s and youth’s big questions about the Bible.
The cost is $25 per person with a $100 family maximum.
