Women of Knollwood will gather for an annual retreat, with opportunities for sharing in large and small groups, as well as in casual conversation and frivolity.
Once again, we’ll be at the Catholic Conference Center in Hickory (1551 Trinity Lane), about an hour from Winston-Salem.
In a world swirling with uncertainty and division, we’ll discover the peace that flows beneath the surface of it all, the “streams of mercy” that keep moving even when everything else feels undone.
Our facilitator will be the Rev. Dr. Lea Pardue Slaton, executive director of Well of Mercy Retreat Center in Hamptonville, N.C. Before joining Well of Mercy, she had been a pastor and a therapist, and had worked 15 years with the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services.
